While there are numbered days left for the Deaflympics, Olympic Committee and PTT made an agreement on the production of special stamps for the games.

While the preparations of Deaflympics 2017 which will be held in Samsun between July 18th and July 30th are continuing at full speed, the PTT has signed an agreement on special stamps which will be producing for the games. General Coordinator of Deaflympics 2017 Serkan Baltacı and Business Services Director of PTT General Director's Office of Samsun Nurhan Önder gathered at the signing ceremony.

Baltacı who stated that Turkey will host an international sports organization which will become its honor expressed that "For the third largest sports organization in the world, Deaflympics, we also made a stamp deal with PTT, one of the Turkey's most established institutions. We want that the stamps which have both the illustrations of sports and traditional Turkish tulip on it will be a souvenir for the participants when they return from Samsun. The International Olympic Committee should exhibit these stamps forever at the Olympic Museum. In this sense, we would like to thank everyone who contributed the agreement with PTT. We wish that when the organization which will be our honor is over, our stamps will be a nice souvenir for all the participants.

PTT which was founded in 1840 and is the most established organization of the Republican history with this feature will complete the production of the stamps which reflect the Turkish culture, its natural beauties, and its important events in 20 days. The stamps will be presented to the athletes and technical managements participating in the Olympics.
